Native of New Jersey. BFA from Moore College of Art (now Moore College of Art and Design) Philadelphia, PA. After moving to Madison WI, worked professionally in multi-media including watercolor, intaglio etching, pen and ink, pastel, and currently full time in colored pencils. Represented by Valperine/Perine Art Gallery on Monroe Street in Madison for 20 years. Illustrated several children's books including "W is for Wisconsin", "H is for Hawkeye", "H is for Hoosier", and American Girl books "Samantha Learns a Lesson" and "Samantha's Surprise". Worked as free-lance artist for Wisconsin Trails Magazine for over 10 years. Paintings in both private and corporate collections. Appointed to the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission in 1997-2010.
